Popular psychotherapist MAX (August Zirner) has two teenage daughters, a headstrong ex-wife LORETTA (Barbara Auer) for a best friend, too many peculiar patients to keep up with and a new, melancholic dog. He certainly doesn’t need another challenge. But when SOPHIE (Johanna ter Steege), a charming compulsive gambler with a boyfriend problem, regularly shows up late for appointments, Max’s world begins to unravel.
